Class-Fit Studio’s Policies and Guidelines

We love our members at Class-Fit Studio. We want to ensure that each member is able to get the most out of their time, and that their experience is a positive one. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation!

 

Cancellation Policies

In order to maintain our intimate studio setting, we need to do our best to manage each and every training slot and class spot, to eliminate lost opportunities for our clients. A late cancellation may keep someone else from getting the chance to take that spot, so we want to do everything we can to avoid this situation. Also, we know that life is busy and it can be easy to find an excuse to skip a workout if you aren’t feeling particularly motivated that day. We hope that by having these policies in place, you may get the extra push you need to stick to your goals!

 

As our clients, we hope that you understand that our schedules are very tight and space is limited. We feel that we have a very fair cancellation policy that allows the client to give proper notice and not be penalized for the cancellation.

Please read the following cancellation policy carefully:

  • Personal Training

    • A minimum of 24 Hours of Notice is required to cancel a training session without penalty.

    • If you cancel after the allowed time period, or fail to show up without notice, you will be charged for that session (deduction of 1 visit from your package or charged full price if booked as a single session).

  • Group Fitness Class

    • A minimum of 2 Hours of Notice is required to cancel your registration for a fitness class without penalty.

    • If you cancel after the allowed time period, or fail to show up without notice, you will be charged for that class according to your membership/pass:

      • Class Card Holders: one class will be deducted from your class card.

      • Unlimited Monthly Members (Auto-Bill or Pre-Pay): a $7.50 cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

      • Drop In (no membership/card): full drop-in rate will be charged to the credit card on file.

  • All cancellations must be done using any of the following:

    • Email: ​info@ClassFitStudio.com

    • Call/Text: 610-910-9948

    • On the Registration Site (if before the deadline to cancel).

*Promotional Pricing (e.g.  “Buy 10, Get 10,”etc.)  does not apply in these situations.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds on packages, plans, or memberships. Passes and plans are non-transferable.

Expiring Passes

  • Personal Training Sessions:

    • Pack Extender: $50/Month - You can extend the expiration date on your personal or group training package by adding on the “pack extender” which will give you an additional 30 days from your original expiration date to use your remaining sessions. This must be purchased before your original expiration date.

    • Never Expire: $125 – One Time Fee – For a fee of $125 you can have your training package never expire. This must be purchased before your original expiration date.

  • Class Passes:

    • Card Extender: $10/Month – You can extend the expiration date on your class card by adding on the “card extender” which will give you an additional 30 days from your original expiration date to use your remaining class passes. This must be purchased before your original expiration date.

    • Never Expire: $25 – One Time Fee – For a fee of $25 you can have your class pass never expire. This must be purchased before your original expiration date.

Membership Hold/Freeze/Cancel

Putting a Monthly Membership on Hold:

  • Monthly Memberships can be placed on a temporary hold. There will be an initial $10 Freeze Fee, with an additional $10 charged every 30 days that the membership is still on hold.  

  • The hold will go into effect on the date that you request. The date cannot be in the past.

  • There is no fee to take off the hold.

Cancelling an Auto-bill Membership:

  • Monthly Auto-bill Memberships will bill on the same day each month.

  • In order to cancel your membership, 14 days notice (prior to your next bill’s due date) is required, otherwise you may be charged for the next bill.

  • Failed auto-bill payments will result in a $10 Late Fee.

Class Enrollment

  • It is important that you enroll into your classes ahead of time. Not only will this reserve your spot, but you will also help us better plan for your class. Some classes will fill up, and others may not, but we truly appreciate you enrolling in every class to help us teach the best class possible. Also, this is the only way we know who plans to come to class, which allows us to contact you about any last-minute changes or plans.

  • Ways to enroll: directly on the website, via email, or with us in the studio.

  • Enrollment deadline & wait lists: Class registration will close out 45 minutes prior to the class start time. If you are trying to enroll within the 45-minute time-frame, you will have to email us directly. Drop-ins will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.

  • If you are not present (or have not notified us that you will be running late) by the class start time, your space may be given away to any drop-ins if necessary. This will be done at the discretion of the instructor.

Class Etiquette and Rules

  • Be mindful of the class going on before/after yours. Our studio does not have a reception area, so while we love that our members enjoy chatting, the noise can be distracting to those trying to workout. Try to limit early arrivals to 10 minutes to avoid overcrowding.

  • Late arrivals are not only a distraction to the other members, but can also be dangerous to you if you are not properly warmed up. Please avoid coming in after 5 minutes from the time of the start of class.

  • Please silence your cell phones and leave them in the cubbies or your bag or car for the duration of the class. If you tell us ahead of time that you need to be near your phone, we will be understanding.

  • Please be respectful towards your instructor and other members in class by not talking over any instructions. We want to make sure everyone has a safe and effective workout and this is a key part of the class. In a circuit-style class, it is ok to chat once we get rolling.

  • Clients must be 13 years or older to attend a fitness class. Clients younger than 13 can only partake in personal training sessions, or in classes or camps specifically for children. Clients between the ages of 13 and 16 must have a parent or guardian present. Clients under 18 must have written permission from a parent or guardian before taking a class.

  • We know that many of our clients have children, but at this time we do not offer any sort of childcare at the studio. With that being said, we cannot allow any kids to wait in the studio during a fitness class. It may be a distraction to the other members or the instructor. We hope to be able to offer childcare in the future.

  • Please wipe down mats and equipment after use.

  • Please leave any valuables at home.

  • All clients must complete a waiver prior to their first class.

  • By coming to our studio, you agree to adhere to these policies
